Help Wanted

So, I’m quilting along on Mary Ellen’s Sunflowers and it occurs to me the quilting that is there looks a tad skimpy.

I’d like the input of my stitching pals.  What do y’all think?  The consensus on Facebook has been a couple more circles.  I’m also toying with some straight line stitching.

Help a girl out, y’all!

  1. Where the green frames the sunflower I would quilt straight lines from the point to the edge between 3 and five depending on the size of that space ( cause photos are deceiving). Then I would crosshatch the “seed center”. Leaving the flower to pop. Then probably wide maybe 3-4 inches wherever you haven’t circled to fill in the negative space. It’s craziness but I love to hand stitch.

  2. I like the idea of the crosshatch on the center but I would outline quilt the peach colored petals instead of the green to more evenly spread the quilting.
